Anuradhapura - Where to Go
You will find below a list of places that you should really find the time to visit when you come to Anuradhapura. Although it can’t be denied that all of these sites are fully worth your while to visit, we feel that a special mention should be made about the Sri Maha Bodiya (ශ්රී මහා බෝධිය).
It is the oldest living planted tree in recorded history (with a history dating back 2300 years in the past) and has survived thus far due to the constant care lavished upon it the Sinhala Sangha.
